  • Julia is awesome. She helped us prepare our small apartment for the baby we have on the way. Before she came and assisted us we had closets and dressers full of unused clothes, boxes upon boxes of baby stuff, and a storage closet full of things we hadn't seen since we stuffed everything in there a year ago. We went through all of it!

    If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have taken on the daunting initiative to go through so much junk as well as get rid of things that deserved a new life. Now, we have a functional closet and storage area, a clean living room, and 2 dressers ready to be filled with all the things our baby is going to continue to need and accumulate.

  • Julia was EXCEPTIONAL! I had just completed a full house remodel and desperately wanted my kitchen organized by a professional. It was everything I could have hopped for and more.   • Letting someone come in and see inside one's cupboards, drawers, and closets can be uncomfortable. As a professional, I want to project the image of a together, organized person. But those cupboards, drawers and closets in my house were a mess!

    Even though it felt vulnerable to open up about my decluttering challenges, and go through the RESET process, the result was so liberating. I especially appreciate that Julia led me through the clear, ordered, step-by-step RESET process—by following all of the steps, the organization finally got DONE. Things were in their rightful places, other things were given a useful life elsewhere, and a system was installed that decreases my stress (it's organized), saves time (I know where thing x is), and is sustainable.   • Julia took an overwhelming project that we kept putting off and broke it down into sections that made it easier than we could have ever imagined it to be. Our move from NJ across country to California took our storage space from a huge basement and attic to just storage space we had to create in our garage. Needless to say after 23 years of marriage we had collected so much. Not to mention all the stuff we collected from our three kids and our elderly father living with us under one roof. We had a ton to sift through, donate, recycle and figure out what was needed and important memorabilia to keep. We needed to create organized storage that made sense.

    This was a huge undertaking but Julia was with us every step of the way. She not only managed the project from start to finish but she brought her own tools, including a drill and ladder and did a lot of the heavy work during the project. She always came with a positive and can-do attitude. It's quite apparent that this is not only her job but her passion.   • It's been 4 weeks since Julia worked her magic on my kitchen and I still get a daily sense of joy from being in such a calm, organized space. Best of all, 4 weeks on, the kitchen is still just as tidy and organized as Julia left it!

    The process felt a little overwhelming at first as we dismantled over 25 years of kitchen paraphernalia. However, Julia worked with a clear process to sort, collate and help discard the no longer needed items. She was efficient in her time, purposeful and thorough. No corner was left unturned, no space ignored.

    By the end of the 2 days, she left me with a kitchen that had room to breathe, items easy to locate in sensible, considered locations. The space now works so smoothly. I am genuinely happier and more content working in my kitchen and so grateful to have had this help.

    That was the testimonial I wrote several months after Julia RESET my kitchen. It has now been 8 months and her system still works perfectly for me. That is the beauty of her process. She asked the right questions and listened carefully, so she was able to customize a system that met my needs and made sense to me. This is not a cookie cutter process! One caveat: you may find yourself drawn to aisles in stores that have bins and canisters.

  • Julia is the best! She wanted to empty out ALL of my kitchen cabinets and drawers and I resisted telling her that I thought my dishes, glasses, pots & pans were where they needed to be. She very gently encouraged me to take out everything. Well, she was right! I ended up giving away two carloads of perfectly beautiful platters, bowls, pots, vases, etc. and she relocated everything that I kept to make my kitchen much more functional. I have 30% more cabinet space than I had before! And then we did my laundry room and the same thing happened. Use RESET and Julia—you will be thrilled!

Julia assessed our spaces and workflow needs and worked with me to decide what needed to go and how to best organize what remained. The results are nothing short of magical.   • I have recently moved to San Diego and our home was pretty chaotic. It was not easy for me to admit that I needed help organizing....I should be able to do that for myself, correct??? I am so glad I swallowed my pride and called Julia at RESET!!!! We are still in the process but I am amazed at how much Julia has accomplished in just a few visits!! I left for a couple of hours and came back to a completely reorganized kitchen...things are easily found and there is a place for everything.   • Julia is so much more than an “organizer” – she completely transformed my relationship with both my home and my stuff! I’ve always considered myself pretty organized, and by all accounts, my home is (often) tidy on the surface. I even had an army of color-coordinated bins to prove it! But beneath the surface, behind the cabinets, and inside of drawers and bins, my things were jumbled, stashed, and a bit chaotic. After moving back in after a major renovation, I had managed to organize the big things (kitchen and clothes), but tackling the miscellany (i.e., everything else) became overwhelming. I had shoved most of it out of sight, but the lurking mess under the surface was not out of mind – it was a nagging source of stress that my stuff was out of control. Julia to the rescue!!

    One of the first things Julia said on our RESET journey was that by the end of our process I would know every item I own and that everything would have a logical place based on how I use it. Know everything I own?! That seemed both insane and tiring (is it break time yet?). But Julia guided me through the RESET process with unwavering energy, thoughtfulness, and enthusiasm as we sifted through all of the office supplies, pet gear, home maintenance, electronics, cleaning products, sports equipment, toiletries, memorabilia, and more. To say she was incredibly non-judgmental about all of the junk I’ve accumulated is an understatement. She never urged me to get rid of anything, she simply asked what felt right for me. Does 30 lip balms feel like the right number of lip balms? Does 7 umbrellas? (For those following along at home, the answers are: “absolutely yes” to the former; and “no, I suppose not” to the latter). She helped me think about the “use case” for everything I have: When do I reach for this? How do I use that? The result was a deep consideration for how my space and things should be oriented to serve me and not the other way around.

    And the way she transformed the inside of my drawers was pure magic! They could be featured in a magazine. Now, instead of rummaging through an unmitigated mess, it’s fun to “shop” for what I need with everything in plain sight.

    When our RESET was finished, Julia left me with not only an organized home, but also a new perspective on being intentional with what I buy and how I use it, and the sense of control I now have over my things is both empowering and calming. Thank you, Julia! You are truly the best!
